Veeam Backup Essentials Standard 2 socket bundle for Hyper-V is the top VMware backup solution in the market. They free version is excellent. Easy to use interface and setup. Backups are really fast. The quick migration feature is something I really like and it has helped me a lot when disasters happen. I like the it also support Microsoft Hyper V backups as well. Backups for our virtual servers. One of the benefits is being able to see virtual servers, storage and tape information for all devices on the network all on one interface.

instant recovery. file level restore (especially exchange), ease of use, ease of setup, it just kind of works ya know... knowledgeable staff, nice forums for finding answers. Solved the problems of backup, offsite backup. long term archival of backups. we also use some replications for key servers. Veeam Backup Essentials Standard 2 socket bundle for Hyper-V we also like for its presentation of relevant information. there are other products, but we really like veeam one.

Easy to use

Easy integration and interface with Veeam Backup Essentials Standard 2 socket bundle for Hyper-V. The trial version allows us to create backups/ snapshots. Veeam sales seems very eager to help; I can make a simple phone call to Veeam sales and I can continue with evaluation/purchase of this product. We've been able to overcome a reliance on tape and backup Exec for our backups, which caused more headaches than it saved. By utilizing Veeam, we've been able to increase our RPO to include a much more broad range of restore options from hours ago to months ago on a relatively small storage footprint. It has also allowed our RTO to go down to almost 0 from the notification of outage. Instant Recovery has allowed us to bring critical systems online quickly and get systems back into production in minutes not hours.
